Websites & Properties

In Test Garden, a Website Property represents a domain name that you own and wish to test (e.g. mywebsite.com). Every recording session, test suite, and run history log is scoped under a specific website property.

Adding a Website Property

To register a new domain for testing:

Navigate to the Properties management page /dashboard/properties.
Click "Add New Website".
Input your root domain name (do not include paths or query strings).
The website will immediately appear in your properties list and is instantly ready for recording.

Configuring Bypass Settings

Every website card in your properties list has a Settings (gear) icon:

Click the gear icon to open the Bypass Settings modal.
Here, you can configure your target website's Supabase Project URL, public anonymous API keys, and test user credentials (Admin and Customer).
Setting up these credentials allows the Chrome Extension to bypass login screens automatically during E2E testing.

Quick-Start Recording

Each website card displays a quick-action section:

Enter a starting path (e.g., /checkout or /dashboard).
Click the "New Test" button to immediately launch the Test Garden workspace and start recording.

Subscription Limits & Enforcement

To prevent abuse, website creation is strictly checked against the billing plan linked to your account:

Sprout Tier ($24/mo): Limited to 3 active website properties.
Blossom Tier ($61/mo): Limited to 10 active website properties.
Orchard Tier ($124/mo): Unlimited website properties.

If you attempt to add a property exceeding your current quota, the dashboard will block the operation and present an upgrade modal to change your Stripe subscription tier.
